2010 Trek Remedy 8 Frameset

Posted by Picasa Photo Gallery

Last week I bought a 2010 Trek Remedy Frameset from Bob.  I met Bob through Craigslist and trusted him enough to PayPal him some bucks and let him send me the frame.  If UPS manages to get the frameset to me in one piece, it will make an awesome "All Mountain" bike.  Built up the bike retails for $3669 from Trek, and by the time I am done with this bike, I will have spent that much, give or take a few hundred.
The pictures of the frame weren't taken by me, so I can't explain the Zebra pattern, but I will get some good shots next week.

04.27 Chase and the Dead Bird

Posted by Picasa Photo Gallery

Chase found a dead bird today in the backyard.  We decided to bury him instead of dumping him in the trash.  Chase said a few words at the service, and I got to use my micro lens for something . . .

04.26 Trek 9.9 Elite - Stem Change

Posted by Picasa Photo Gallery

I managed to change the stem out on my rig today to a new white one, then I thought it looked pretty gay so I went back to the original black one.  Nothing else to see here, just gave her a good cleaning and that's about it.

04.17 Wing-It Saturday

Posted by Picasa Photo Gallery

We decided to wing it today, roaming out and about with no plans at all. We started out at the Ford dealership, getting some info about the new Mustangs. Then we headed to Downtown (and did nothing). After that, to the Rice Village where we headed to The Chocolate Bar for some ice cream, and you know what that tastes like? It tastes delicious.

Central Market was our next destination for some groceries, then to Niko Niko's to pick up some Greek food.
